Alpha 1600W Projektör

Alpha 1600W benefits from the same features of the other units of the range : Quartz reflector for a high reflection index, ability to be used pointing straight down, a compact and lightweight design. Its small size allows it to come in a case with wheels, handy for any kind of tranport.

Quality of light

No compromise on the quality of light has been made : the Alpha uses a 250 mm Fresnel lens, and the G22 socket allows for a wider angle as the bulb reaches closer to the Fresnel. Without lens, the Alpha produces a very even beam of 85°, which makes it ideal to cover large areas and Chroma Keys. The unique texture of the Quartz reflector gives a very natural light effect, with a very high reflection index of 97%.

Ability to be operated pointing straight down

Like all K5600 fixtures, the Alpha 1600W can be used pointing straight down for unlimited period of time without damaging the unit or creating safety issues. In real life, the light usually comes from above and the ability to recreate this situation is a very unique and appreciable asset.

High Speed ballast

The ballast of the Alpha 1600W is PFC and draws 7,4 Amp @230 V. It is dimmable, and has selectable frequency options for extreme High Speed shooting (300 Hz and 1000 Hz).
